One of the perks of being a business owner is being able to take time throughout the day to savor the little things. A sunset, a walk in the fresh air, a brainstorming brunch, actions that bring balance and sanity to our busy lives. Since we’re the boss we choose the background noise, be it music - hard rock or opera, television - CNN or Star Trek, or the sounds of the breeze and birds. Alas, we also have unlimited opportunities to pursue other diversions, the call of the refrigerator, checking our stocks or soap operas or tossing in a quick load of laundry.

With all this freedom how do we get everything on the “to-do” list done? What are your favorite methods of getting things done, avoiding procrastination and keeping in action? Mine? I’m checking things off my legal pad and turning up the new Eagles CD and looking forward to tomorrow’s challenges.

If you are part of a great networking group, are founding a new one, know of a great networking tip or strategy or have an innovative way to stay motivated or really clever procrastination technique please share!

Go Forth and Flourish!
